How to play

  1. Share the room link. Everyone writes their three statements in private.
  2. One person's statements appear on the shared screen.
  3. Everyone votes for the one they think is the lie.
  4. The lie is revealed, the owner adds a sentence of backstory, and the next person is up.

When to use it

The classic get-to-know-you game, without anyone having to say their lie out loud on a video call.

Facilitator tip

Encourage small, specific facts ("I once missed a flight because of a cat") rather than big ones. They are harder to guess and make better stories.
