When to use it
- A new team or a new manager
- Before or after a reorganisation
- When people disagree on who gets to decide
What it does
- Motivation cards, ranked in private
- Delegation levels from 1 to 7 for each decision
- A reveal with team averages and the biggest differences
How to use it
- Pick a game. Motivation cards to talk about what drives people, or Delegation levels to agree who decides what.
- Invite people. Share the link. Everyone works on their own screen; answers stay hidden.
- Play in private. Rank the ten cards from most to least important, or vote a level 1–7 for each decision.
- Reveal. The host shows everyone’s answers at once, with team averages and the biggest differences.
- Talk and agree. Discuss surprises, then save the agreed delegation level or note what matters most to the team.
Tips
- There are no right answers. Ask “what makes this one important to you?” rather than debating rankings.
- Add a change (like a reorg or new process) to see which motivators it would help or hurt.
- Revisit delegation levels after a few months: trust grows and levels can move up.
